the room turned out to be a pleasant find. not fancy or outrageous - just a good value for the money. I liked the 1 floor design and the convenience to my destination. very nice! i will consider this hotel for future travel to the Arlington, VA area.

They left expired coffee at the reception area lounge coffee pot most evenings. I would pour myself a cup then be forced to abandon it after tasting as it was bad. The restaurant at the hotel concentrated their breakfast menu too much on eggs.

my recent stay here was fantastic. after a disappointing previous visit, governor house inn really surprised me. clean and spacious room with a comfy bed and a nice work area. the location was great, just a short drive to the nearest subway station. loved the free coffee in the morning.
